SALEM, IL — A 28-year-old Chicago man was charged Tuesday in Marion County Court with weapons charges.
According to court documents, Armani Moore was arrested early Monday morning by Centralia police for allegedly possessing a loaded and uncased 45 caliber pistol. He was formally charged in court with Class 4 felony aggravated unlawful use of a loaded weapon without a FOID and misdemeanor possession of a firearm without a valid FOID. Judge Mark Stedelin released Moore from the Marion County Jail on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
Moore is next scheduled to appear in court June 21 for a preliminary hearing and a first appearance with his court-appointed attorney.
