MARION COUNTY, IL — A 25-year-old Centralia man was released from the Marion County Jail Tuesday on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond after he was charged with aggravated battery of a police officer.

According to court records, Robert Kinnicutt is also known as Robert Gatsis was charged with Class 2 felony aggravated battery of a peace officer for allegedly kicking a Centralia Police officer in the leg.   

Judge Mark Stedelin scheduled Kinnicutt to next appear in court June 21 for a preliminary hearing and a first appearance with his court-appointed attorney.
