(Makanda, IL) — Officials say a Makanda woman who was found dead in her garage had been there for about a year. Sunantha Simmons’ family members discovered her body on Christmas Day. They say they hadn’t heard from her in at least a year. Police don’t suspect foul play. An autopsy reveals she died of natural causes.
