(Wood River, IL) — A former Wood River cop is being sued after offering to drop a woman’s charges if she performed a sex act on him. He pled guilty to official misconduct last August but now the woman wants at least 250-thousand-dollars for pain and suffering and emotional distress. She filed a lawsuit earlier this week. The same officer is being sued by another woman in a separate lawsuit. She claims the cop used the department computers to access her information, then sent her sexually charged text messages.
