CARBONDALE, IL — Carbondale Police have made an arrest in a recent home invasion.

Police responded to the 200 block of South Lewis Lane around 11:40 Friday morning in reference to a report of a home invasion. Officers learned the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Eric D. Lescault of Carbondale, forced his way into a home and battered the victim.

Officers arrested Lescault for Home Invasion, Aggravated Battery, and Criminal Damage to Property. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail. The victim received a minor injury as a result of the incident.
