A small fire at the Odin Health Care Center was quickly contained Monday morning with no injuries reported. Investigators say an overheated light ballast sparked the fire, but it was largely put out by maintenance before crews arrived. Smoke was limited, with residents either evacuated from one wing or sheltered safely in place. Mutual aid departments responded, but damage was minimal and contained to an office area.
