MT. VERNON, IL — The Jefferson County Farm Bureau is hosting a fundraising event called ‘Powered by Pancakes’ Saturday at the Rolland Lewis Community Building in Mt. Vernon’s Veteran’s Park.

Farm Bureau Manager Sydney Lay says the funds raised at this breakfast will benefit their Agriculture in the Classroom Program.

All you can eat pancakes and sausage will be served until 11am or until they run out today. Carry outs will be available. Cost for food is $5 for adults, kids age 12 & under are $3.
