MARION, IL — Following a lengthy investigation, five people were arrested Friday for Prostitution and $10,000 in cash was seized after the Marion Police Department with help from the Herrin Police Department conducted an undercover operation at multiple massage establishments in Marion.

According to Marion Police, those arrested were 59-year-old Fengxi Y of Q Spa located at 1805 W. Main St., 60-year-old Jiang Ying and 46-year-old Liqin Li of Sunshine Spa, located at 805 W. DeYoung St., Suite E; 53-year-old Wang Lin of A Relaxing Place Spa located at 1108 N. Carbon St., Unit F and 51-year-old Kam Mui Chau of Rose Asian Spa located at 1000 N. Carbon St., Suite U.

Police say the listed businesses will be subject to penalties listed in Marion Ordinance #3742 that was passed on Sept. 13 of last year. Additional criminal charges and further arrests are anticipated.
