CENTRALIA, IL — Two students were arrested in separate incidents Wednesday at the Centralia High School Annex.

According to Centralia police, 20-year-old Isaiah Shelton of the Hoyleton Children’s Home was arrested after he became upset and threw his Chromebook and desk. When two security officers arrived, Shelton reportedly struck both of them and then later at the Centralia Police Station he allegedly spat in the face of two officers. Shelton was charged Thursday in Marion County Court with two Class 2 felonies for aggravated battery to a police officer and Class 3 felony aggravated battery of a school employee. His bond was set at $10,000.

In the second incident, 19-year-old Harleigh Davison of the Hoyleton Children’s Home reported threw her desk and tore up a different classroom at the same time. She was formally charged Thursday in Marion County Court with Class 4 felony criminal damage to government property. Her bond was set at $3,000.
