DIX, IL — A shoplifting complaint at the Dollar General Store in Dix last week led to the arrest of three people on drug charges. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, around 9:46 a.m., April 15th, deputies were responding to the shoplifting complaint and spotted the suspected vehicle driving south on IL Hwy 37.

Deputies made contact with the occupants after a traffic stop and began their initial investigation. Members of the Mt. Vernon Police Department/Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit responded to assist with the investigation and recovered evidence during the search. During the contact 32-year-old Amber D. Aud, of Eldorado, was arrested on a Vanderburgh County, IN warrant charging her with Possession of Methamphetamine, Child Neglect, and Possession of Drug Equipment.

36-year-old William F. Phillips III, of Ashley, was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant charging him of Possession of Methamphetamine

and 59-year-old Lisa A. Rollinson, of Mt. Vernon, was arrested on an original charge of Possession of less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine.

Aud, Phillips, and Rollinson were all transported to the Jefferson County Jail.. Aud’s bond on the warrant was $500 cash. Phillips’ bond on the warrant was $25,000. Rollinson’s bond was to be set by a judge.
