WOODLAWN — As more guidance comes from the state and federal levels, local school districts continue to make their plans for the coming school year.
In Woodlawn, they are planning on having students in class five days a week with an remote learning option for students with health conditions that put them at higher risk.
But Woodlawn Schools Superintendent Eric Helbig says he wouldn’t be surprised if the state has all schools start with online learning, and his district will be ready if that’s the case.
Helbig says the guidance and plans may be constantly changing, but all school officials are doing their best to do what is right for the kids.
Woodlawn’s scheduled first day of school is August 17th.
