CENTRALIA — A 28-year-old Centralia man is in the Marion County Jail following his arrest Monday morning stemming from a domestic incident at his home where he’s accused of firing three shots outside.

Jeffrey Parker was formally charged Tuesday morning in Marion County Court with Class 1 felony aggravated discharge at an occupied vehicle or structure and Class 3 felony being a felon in possession of a firearm.

According to Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson, around 8:30 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a home in the 100 block of West 17th on a report of shots fired.

Dodson says Parker had apparently been involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend who he allegedly battered. Parker then threw the woman outside.

The woman’s brother then reportedly went to the home and Parker reportedly battered him as well before pulling out a gun and firing three shots outside.

Officers ultimately searched the home and reportedly discovered several guns, methamphetamine and pills believed to be Oxycodone.

Parker was taken into custody for alleged aggravated discharge of a firearm, possession of a weapon by a felon, domestic battery, aggravated assault, possession of meth and possession of a controlled substance.

He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he awaits the setting of bail.
