ILLINOIS — Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker has ordered all K-12 schools in the state, public and private, to close through at least March 30th to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Although current information suggests that kids are not as vulnerable to the novel COVID-19 virus, Pritzker says this decision to looking out for the health of everyone in the state.

According to the CDC website, there are over 1,600 cases of the COVID-19 as of Friday, and there are 32 in the state of Illinois.
