On Monday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

39-year-old Tyrone Briscoe of Mt. Vernon was arrested Friday for direct criminal contempt.

25-year-old Jimmy Bowen of Mt. Vernon was arrested Saturday for failing to appear to answer questions.

43-year-old Kenneth Johnson of Jonesboro, AR was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Saturday for DUI.

36-year-old Stephen Storment of Mt. Vernon was arrested Saturday for possession of meth less than five grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, and on a bond forfeiture warrant.

62-year-old Richard Webb of Carmi was arrested Sunday for DUI-alcohol.

30-year-old Jennifer Sturgeon of Bowling Green, KY was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Sunday for driving on a suspended license and obstructing justice by providing false information.

36-year-old Michael Lane of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Sunday for escape of a felon from a penal institution and obstructing identification.

44-year-old Gerald Turner of St. Petersburg, FL was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Sunday for criminal trespass to land.

48-year-old Bobby Coleman of Mt. Vernon was arrested Sunday for possession of meth less than five grams.
