PADUCAH, KY — The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of southeast Missouri and southern Illinois that will be in effect from noon to 9 this evening.

Total snow accumulations of one to two inches is likely with winds gusting as high as 30 to 35 mph. Snow accumulation may be higher on grassy and elevated surfaces, and lower on area roads. However slick spots may develop as temperatures rapidly fall. It is more uncertain how much of a travel impact there will be.

You can plan on scattered slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
