MCLEANSBORO — The McLeansboro City Council is set to discuss and take possible action on approving an ordinance authorizing up to $2,400 in waterworks and sewage system revenue bonds to defray the cost of acquiring, constructing, improving and extending waterworks and sewage facilities and related matters when it meets tonight at 7 at City Hall.

The council will look at two TIF applications – one for Harold and Phyllis Vanover at 110 West Market and the other for Kelly and Paula Karcher at 101 East Main – and a TIF reimbursement request by Tim Wolf of MC Sales LLC in the amount of $5061.16.

The council is also set to discuss and possibly act on a resolution closing and/or rerouting certain state highways and/or city streets for the City Christmas Parade on Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public.
