MT. VERNON — The city of Mt. Vernon Public Works Department will begin installing new asphalt on part of Casey Avenue Wednesday. Weather permitting, the asphalt will be installed between 15th and 12th Streets.
This section of Casey will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday. There will be no street parking allowed during this time period. Residents living in the area will need to park their vehicles on adjacent side streets because they will not have access to their driveways during this time.
