ILLINOIS (RFD) — The growing lack of teachers in the state reaching a crisis point says the new President of the Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools. The organization is moving forward with a study on why High School aged people are not considering teaching as a profession.

The 2019 Teacher Shortage Study coincides with the start of the new school year in Illinois.
