MT. VERNON — The Mt. Vernon Township High School District is looking for a new superintendent for the 2020-21 school year after current Superintendent Jeff Fritchtnitch announced he will retire after this school year.

Fritchtnitch is very appreciative of his time at MVTHS, and he says he wants to help the school board with the search process in any way he can.

Fritchtnitch says it was a tough decision to hang it up after the school year, and he’s making sure to enjoy every day while giving the job 100 percent for the students and staff at MVTHS.
