MT. VERNON — The city of Mt. Vernon will be closing N. 42nd Street between Richview Road and Windsor Place Thursday and Friday. City work crews will close the road to all traffic between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day to begin installing new asphalt.
There will be no street parking allowed during the construction. Residents will need to park your vehicles on adjacent side streets as those affected will not have access to their driveways during that time.
