ILLINOIS (RFD) — Illinois farmers are longing for a lengthy stretch of dry weather. Freese-Notis Ag meteorologist Dan Hicks is hoping that can happen sooner rather than later.

There will be a few dry days outside of some potential rain on Sunday.

Rain continues to hinder spring planting with the latest Illinois crop report showing only 24% of the corn crop has been planted and just 9% of the soybean crop, both well below the 5-year average.
