CENTRALIA — A large police presence was noted Wednesday morning in Centralia.

According to Centralia Police Chief Brian Atchison, his officers were assisting the FBI in the execution of two search warrants in town.

FBI Public Information Officer Brad Ware confirmed that the FBI is conducting law enforcement operations in the area, but because those operations pertain to ongoing investigations, he couldn’t comment further.
