A 37-year-old Paducah, Kentucky man is in the Marion County Jail after he allegedly dropped a baggie containing 8-grams of methamphetamine while he was walking into the emergency room of the hospital in Centralia.
According to Centralia police, Jerrick Carruthers was arrested when leaving the ER, after a member of SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital security staff found the baggie and reviewed surveillance video allegedly showing Carruthers drop the baggie.
CPD officers arrested Carruthers for alleged possession of between 5 and 15 grams of meth. His bail has been set at $10,000.
