(Belleville, IL) — Four teens are in custody for a weekend crime spree that included the shooting of a bar owner in Carlyle. Clinton County sheriff’s police say the four fled from the bar Friday and stole two cars. They also robbed a store in Sandoval and led police on a chase through neighborhoods in Milstadt. Police broke off that chase, but the four were later captured, though police have refused to discuss details because the case remains under investigation. Police are also trying to link the teens to other crimes in the Metro East.
