(Belleville, IL) — St. Clair County is on the hook for 300-thousand dollars in a labor dispute with some sheriff’s deputies. The “Belleville News-Democrat” reports the county board is planning to vote on paying the money to the deputies union. Back in 2011, the Illinois Labor Relations Board ruled in favor of the union in a complaint about a division that hired two non-union workers.
