MARION, Ill. (AP) — A southern Illinois county coroner says a 4-year-old girl has died in a Marion house fire. Williamson County Coroner Junior Burke says the girl was pronounced dead at 12:25 a.m. Saturday after suffering injuries in the blaze. The girl died at a hospital. Marion Fire Department officials say they received a call after 11 p.m. Friday reporting a house fire. The coroner’s office, fire department, Marion police, Illinois State Police and the Illinois State Fire Marshal are investigating.
