MT. VERNON — The “Superheroes; A Night To Fly” event to benefit children with special needs, will be held this Saturday, October 6th from 3-6pm at Mt. Vernon Baptist Temple Church.
The event will include live music and entertainment, Lions Club train rides, horseback rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and lots of games and prizes.
Pastor of Baptist Temple, Tim Reynolds, says he wanted to put on an event his daughter Isabella could enjoy along with other children with special needs.
Pastor Reynolds says hamburgers, brats, chips, and funnel cakes will be served along plenty of activities for everyone at no cost.
