It’s March and that can only mean it’s time for college basketball! Participate in this year’s tournament festivities with the WDML March Mattress Bracket Challenge, presented by BoxDrop of Salem! With a supporting assist from GlassMasters! Complete your bracket for a chance to win a new mattress from BoxDrop of Salem, and other prizes from GlassMasters, Southern Illinois Tile & Carpet, Hanson’s Lawn Care in Centralia, Mt. Vernon Flea Market and Master Construction Combined LLC in Mt. Vernon!

 

How to Enter

View the bracket and the navigation directions. Once ready, select “Start Predictions,” sign up, and fill out the entire bracket to enter. Name, phone number, city, and email are required for submission. Only your name will appear on the leaderboard to determine standings. Phone number, city, and email are not publicly viewable and will only be used to contact winners. Once your bracket is submitted, no edits can be made.

Schedule

Bracket selections will open at 12:00 PM on Monday, March 18th following the bracket field release on Sunday, March 17th. Selections will be accepted until tip-off of the First Round matches at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 21st. After that, no new brackets will be accepted and no edits can be made to existing brackets.

Scoring Breakdown

You will be awarded points for each correctly chosen matchup. Points are not deducted for incorrect selections, and the point values increase with each round.

Points breakdown is as follows:

• Round of 64: 1 point
• Round of 32: 2 points
• Round of 16: 4 points
• Round of 8: 8 points
• Last Four: 16 points
• Championship: 32 points

Leaderboard, Winner Selection, and Prizes

Entrants and their accumulated points will be visible on a publicly viewable leaderboard. These point totals will be used to determine prize winners.

One winner with the highest point total will be selected at the conclusion of each round starting with the Round of 32, for a total of Five (5) winners. The first four entrants with the highest point totals at the completion of their respective rounds will be eligible for prize packs from our sponsors. Our final Grand Prize winner will receive one prize pack in addition to a brand new mattress from BoxDrop of Salem.

Winners will be contacted using the name, phone number and/or email address submitted when they created their bracket entry.
