Keep your calendar open for the Washington County Historical Society Ice Cream Social and Porch Sale!
This special event will take place on September 21, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM at the WCHS Museum at 326 S. Kaskaskia St. in Nashville, IL.
Seth Swoboda will be whipping up a few batches of Home-made Ice Cream using his unique Ice Cream Maker complete with a John Deer motor and Mike Chwasczinski will be providing some ice cream too. While you are there you can check out some the Porch Sale items that will be for sale. i.e., Decorative plates, vintage Christmas ornaments and decor, lace curtains, wallpaper, dishes, microwave, and much more. We will also have the Museum open for those that want to venture in to check out the School Event featuring two Time Capsules and their contents, both dating back over 100 years ago. Also, if you haven’t seen the Underground Mine Exhibit, this would be a good opportunity to do so. So come on out and join us. Lots to see and lots of ice cream too! Hope to see you there!!!
