(BENTON, IL) — A Benton woman was arrested on drug-related charges after a Benton Police officer conducted a traffic stop around 1 Sunday morning on East Main Street. During the traffic stop, an officer placed 22-year-old Denni J. Durbin of Benton under arrest for driving while license suspended. The officer also found methamphetamine, oxycodone and hypodermic syringes in Durbin’s vehicle. Durbin received additional charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Durbin was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
