(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council met Tuesday for their regularly scheduled council meeting.  Among items on the agenda, the City Manager provided a capital projects report. City Attorney read ordinances approving several TIF redevelopment agreements, as well as first readings of an ordinance declaring property surplus regarding scrap iron at the former Armory building and of an ordinance authorizing the issuance of a promissory note related to industrial park conservation area TIF district, which was approved.
