(Carterville, IL) — More than 15-hundred abused, abandoned, and neglected kids had a good Christmas, thanks to a couple of charitable organizations in southern Illinois. Pat Benton and The Poshard Foundation donated 60-thousand-dollars to help get gifts for the kids. The Amy Center in Mount Vernon, Carbondale’s Boys and Girls Club, and Mentors 4 Kids in Harrisburg were among the agencies that provided the gifts.
