(FARINA, IL) — The Illinois State Police and area law enforcement agencies continue to investigate the Friday morning armed robbery of Midland States Bank in Farina. The suspect reportedly entered the bank around 9:34 a.m. Friday and displayed a weapon and demanded money before leaving the bank on foot. He was last seen headed north on Walnut Street. He is described as a white male in his 40s with long black hair, approximately 5-feet 6-inches tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a plaid shirt, red plaid jacket, blue jeans and a green baseball cap. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact ISP Zone 7 Investigations at 217-342 7853.
