(SALEM, IL) — Three people were taken to the Marion County Jail over the weekend on multiple meth charges after they were arrested following a traffic stop by Centralia police. Centralia police reportedly stopped 23-year-old Jordan McMullin, of Odin, as part of a residential burglary investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Once officers had McMullin stopped, they say they discovered multiple items in the vehicle used to manufacture methamphetamine. According to CPD, officers initially spotted a bag in the car containing pseudoephedrine pills. A further search reportedly revealed additional pills. A passenger in McMullin’s car, 21-year-old Samantha Wolff, of Arnold, Missouri, reportedly had a surgical mask, lithium batteries and empty plastic baggies with residue that tested positive as methamphetamine. Additional surgical masks were also discovered in the vehicle, and McMullin was taken in to custody for alleged residential burglary, use of property to manufacture meth, possession of meth manufacturing materials, and possession of meth making precursors. Wolff and a second passenger, 23-year-old Zachary Zeller, of Centralia, were taken into custody for alleged possession of meth precursors and possession of meth manufacturing materials. The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team was called to safely handle the car, due to the reportedly large amount of precursors found in the vehicle.
