(Du Quoin, IL)  —  The Du Quoin State Fair has a new director.  Patrick Buchen took over the job last week.  He will have the responsibility of boosting the revenue of a fair that has lost over 500 thousand dollars in 2013.  Buchen seems well-suited for the position with his background in agriculture and events management.  He’ll also manage the Illinois State Fair in Springfield.
