Pinckneyville Community Consolidated School District 204 Superintendent and Principal Jerry Travelstead was placed on administrative leave following community allegations. Regional Office of Education Superintendent Matt Hickam is stepping in as interim superintendent. We have now learned that Travelstead has since resigned after the victim filed a police report. At last word, he still has not been charged with anything. The investigation continues.
