April Lynn Adkins, age 53 of Salem, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

April was born on October 25, 1972, in Salem, the daughter of Dee Ann Ashlock.

She is survived by her mother, Dee Ann Ashlock of Salem; two children, Tristan Adkins and Alyssa Adkins; a special friend and adopted son, Troy Brown; one grandson, Izyah Adkins; and a former sister-in-law, Trina Blanchette.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jack Ashlock.

April was employed with Hella Electronics in Flora and had previously worked with Radiac in Salem.  She was a fun-loving person; she enjoyed her Camaro SS and was a member of several Camaro groups.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating.  A time of visitation will be held from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Memorials can be made to the Salem Animal Shelter and can be left at Crouse Funeral Home.  Online memories and condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com.
