NASHVILLE – A missing child was found safe Friday near Nashville.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call was received around 6:45 a.m. about the child being missing from the Liberty School Road area near Nashville.
First responders were alerted and arrived. As the search for the child grew, additional support from area fire departments along with Washington County EMA, Washington County Ambulance and Washington County Telecommunications was requested.
The child was found safely located in a detached garage near the home after hearing emergency sirens. The child was unharmed and did not require medical attention.
