BENTON, IL — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office needs your help finding an out of compliant sex offender.

According to the sheriff’s office, 40-year-old Raymond E. Williams of Benton has not provided the sheriff’s office with a current address, and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. There is an active arrest warrant for Williams for failing to appear in court on the charge of Violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act. Williams is classified as a sexual predator and is required to register with law enforcement for life.
