(Saline County, IL) — A southern Illinois man will spend the next six years in prison for robbing a series of Saline County churches. Christopher Abell agreed to a plea deal last month. He was arrested in December with two accomplices after breaking into three places of worship. The string of church break-ins started in 2010.
