(Belleville, IL) — Belleville Police say they are searching for a thief that committed an armed robbery of a local fast food restaurant. The incident happened early Monday morning at a White Castle on the 58-hundred block of Belleville Crossing. Cops say employees described the suspect as a man wearing a maroon hoodie, black pants and his face was partially covered. He entered the business with a gun, demanded cash and ran out with an unknown amount of money. Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Belleville Police.
