MT. VERNON, IL — The Mt. Vernon Police Department responded to reported gunshots around 10pm Thursday night in the 4200/4300 block of Rose Lane. MVPD Chief Trent Page says one person was transported for non-life threatening injuries to a hospital and the victim is not cooperating with law enforcement.
