HAMILTON COUNTY — The majority of Hamilton County voters want to improve their county’s ambulance and other emergency services. They voted to pass a one-percent sales tax increase to pay to improve those vital services on Tuesday.

Bethany Reyling is the Marketing Director at Hamilton Memorial Hospital. She says the passage of the emergency services tax will help them provide better healthcare to the county.

The sales tax passed by a 73-27 percent margin.
