BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday announced the additional arrests of two people for their alleged involvement in multiple burglaries in rural West Frankfort on July 24.

Sheriff David Bartoni says 35-year-old Bradley J. Braden of Elgin is charged with one additional count of residential burglary and one count of burglary. Last week, Braden was charged with residential burglary, theft and possession of a weapon by a felon in this case.

Forty-one-year-old Jeremy A. Jerls of West Frankfort is charged with one count of residential burglary, one count of burglary as well as one count of theft.

Braden continues to be held on $100,000 bail. Both are awaiting bond on the new charges.
