ILLINOIS (RFD) — Summer time brings a unique set of fire risks and the Illinois State Fire Marshall’s office wants you to enjoy the next few months safely. Spokesman JC Fultz says if you setting up a camp fire or bonfire take a good look at your surrounding and make sure the area is fit for an outdoor fire.

The fire marshal also wants grill – both charcoal and gas to be set up more than just a few feet away from a house or deck.
