MT. VERNON — On Thursday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

44-year-old Bennie Barbre of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Wednesday for domestic battery and interfering the report of domestic violence.

30-year-old Brandon Fitzpatrick of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for using bad checks to obtain property.
