MT. VERNON — Bail has been set at $75,000 for a 41-year-old Bluford man arrested by Mt. Vernon police for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver after a search warrant was executed Thursday on two businesses in the 23-hundred block of Perkins Avenue.

Mt. Vernon police say Dedrick Bell was taken into custody in connection with a quantity of meth allegedly found inside Mr. B’s Elite Lawn and Homecare Makeover.

Bell has been charged in Jefferson County court with Class X felony delivery of more than 900 grams of meth.

He’s next due in court June 18 for a preliminary hearing and first appearance with his court-appointed attorney.
