FRANKLIN COUNTY — IDOT says there will be an upcoming road closure in Franklin County.

Starting Friday, April 5 at 6pm, Illinois 37 will be closed between Forest Baptist Church Road and Commerce Lane – 2 miles south of Benton, weather permitting – so a drainage structure can be replaced.

The road is expected to be open by 6 a.m. on Monday, April 8.

You should seek other routes to your destination. Message boards and signs will be in place to remind you about the closure.
