Two people from Mississippi were injured Monday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 57 just south of Salem.
According to the Illinois State Police, around 5:40 a.m. Monday, 20-year-old Antario Miller was driving northbound on I-57 when his vehicle left the west side of the interstate, and entered the median.

Miller was cited for improper lane usage, not wearing a seat belt, possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Forte was cited for not wearing a seat belt and possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis.
