A 27-year-old Centralia man has been released from the Marion County Jail after he was arrested by Centralia police following a traffic stop Friday.
Anthony Clark was arrested after police say they smelled an odor of cannabis coming from a car being driven by Clark at a traffic stop for driving without a valid license.
According to reports, officers allegedly found three jars containing small amounts of cannabis in the center console of Clark’s car. A fourth jar allegedly held two corners from plastic baggies that contained a substance that field tested positive as heroin.
A search of Clark reportedly revealed a large amount of cash in one of his pockets. He was taken to the Marion County Jail on charges of possessing a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and driving without a valid license.
He was later released from jail.
